What Is Revive Series?

Revive! Satellite Evangelism Series is a live-stream presentation of evangelistic seminars that can be viewed via Internet, satellite dish, Roku, and mobile devices. The 2012 event is broadcast from Anchorage, Alaska. The goal is to revive church members and their friends with the wonderful message of God’s hope, love, and grace. (Sponsored by The Voice of Prophecy)

What Is This Year's Theme?

“Experiencing God” is the theme for the series from June 9 to 17. Each speaker will focus on one aspect of God -- His grace, peace, presence, forgiveness, rest, assurance, hope, leading, and calling. Those who attend will discover a deeper and more intimate relationship with God.

What Time Will the Meetings Be Available for Viewing at Host Sites?

The Revive! series will be available by satellite downlink, Roku set-top box, and online, June 9-17. For churches, schools, and other host sites, the best way to view is from Hope Church Channel on the special satellite dish available from Glorystar and other providers. An alternative is the Roku set-top box, which allows users with an Internet connection to access the programs and stream them to a television set at home or through a projector at church. The meetings will also be streamed on the Internet. Times are listed below, or see the program schedule guide for all the times.

You may view the online stream of the programs at your preferred time. Or access archived programs at TheAdventistChannel.org, where they will be available within 24 hours of the initial broadcasts.

Satellite feeds of the Revive! series on Hope Channel and Hope Church Channel are the most flexible for most downlink host sites. Hope Church Channel offers a choice of four times every evening, providing convenient viewing in different time zones.

How Can These Meetings Be Viewed at Other Locations?

Those who cannot attend a host site may also view the series.

1. Watch online: A stream will be available online at www.theadventistchannel.org the same day the evening meetings are uplinked by satellite on Hope Church Channel. The programs will also be archived at The Adventist Channel for later viewing on demand. The Program Schedule lists the times. 
2. Television: With access to DirecTV, the series can be viewed on Hope Channel (3 pm Pacific, 6 pm Eastern, June 9-17). With a special satellite dish from Glorystar or another provider, the programs will be available on Hope Channel and Hope Church Channel (multiple broadcasts).
3. Roku: streaming online video will be broadcast through the Roku box via The Adventist Channel.
4. Mobile devices: Persons who cannot attend a host site can also enjoy streaming online video on their  mobile devices.

How Can I Determine Whether My Internet Connection Is Fast Enough?

Most Internet connections today should be up to speed for viewing the streaming videos. You may test your connection to see whether you are able to clearly view a video at www.ustream.tv. If you can watch videos on that website, then your connection is probably fast enough.

When Will Archived Programs Be Available?

Revive Series will be available for online streaming to be shown at a later time. The video files will be uploaded and available within 24 hours after the satellite broadcasts. Programs will be archived to be viewed any time at  TheAdventistChannel.org.
